Welcome to Brentwood

Charming agricultural community with modern shopping centers.

Brentwood is a peaceful, agricultural Contra Costa County community famous for its fields and orchards filled with cherries, corn, and peaches. Brentwood’s landscape is characterized by rolling pastoral hillsides with views of Mount Diablo throughout the community. State Route 4 runs through Brentwood and connects it to Oakland in approximately 50 minutes and San Francisco in around an hour.

Brentwood is a family-friendly city with many quiet neighborhoods composed of mostly single-family housing. It is one of the fastest-growing communities in the East Bay region and, consequently, much of its housing options are contemporary.
